Appley and Puckpool Explorer

This trail is not wheelchair or buggy friendly and can be quite muddy in wet weather. If you wish to explore the built heritage at Puckpool Park access from the trail will involve steps or steep banks. 

Distance: 2.5m return (approx. 1.15 hours) 

Start / finish at Appley Tower. 

This trail takes in the natural and built heritage of Appley and Puckpool Parks. Theres a chance to go on a tree hunt, as well as exploring Puckpool Battery, a Victorian sea defence, but now a wonderful park.  

Highlights include: Appley Tower and Estate, HMS Sirius Memorial, Appley Picture Frame, Sculptures, Puckpool Battery and a tree hunt.
